FAQ's

  • Can a 3x3 inch sticker be scanned from my car parked several yards from the sign?
Depends really on your phone's camera. From the drivers seat my fiancé was able to scan the QR code with her iPhone no problem. I had an inexpensive android, was closer to the sign and couldn't get an immediate scan. I took a picture and google 'lensed' it and got instantly to the listing that way. (Confused? Don't worry - the average homebuyer knows from scanning!)
  • Why do I need a label, all of the important information is listed on the sign already: agent, phone numbers, even my broker's home page?
Compared to your listing your sign has hardly any informative data about the property. What's the price, the sq. footage, beds / baths, monthly expenses, what about local schools? All buyers want that info, they want it even before they call you. According to the NAR, 50% of all home buyers in your neighborhood see your For Sale sign - yet only 4% of buyers attribute their purchase to the sign. They're not calling, despite several phone numbers listed on the sign, because first they want to know if this house works for them. Most of those that saw the property, and your sign, even if they had instant interest, never got to see your listing - unless they were very determined or stumbled upon it later. A thumbnail size QR sticker on your sign gives buyers immediate access to your listing, the answer to most questions, the motivation to call.
  • If someone wanted the listing they would take out their phone, go to realtor.com, type in the property address and there you go. Why do I need a QR code?
Easy enough if your fingers aren't pudgy like mine, or if the kids aren't getting cranky and you have to get them home, or if the house number is readily visible, if they remember the name of the street they're on. Is any one likely to go to the corner searching for a street sign? Some will. Your job is to make everything as easy as possible for your buyer, and you're good at it. You can't make everything easy - but this you can do.
  • I'm a realtor and when I sell a listing I need to move my sign to a new property. Do I need a new label?
Nope, just let us know the new URL you want the scan to point to and you're set, no need to print a new label.
  • I have a number of signs on bus benches. Will your labels hold up on a bench sign?
Not an issue. Should last 5 years!
  • Do I need two labels per sign?
Only if your sign is double sided and visible both ways. Even still, you only need one.
  • I'm a plumber and drive my truck around town all day, can I put a QR label on my truck?
You'd be smart to do that!
  • I have a corner property and will need two yard signs. If I provide a single URL for both signs is that okay?
All of our labels have separate and distinct primary QR codes. Because they are dynamic codes we can point each of them to any URL you would like. Initially we'll assign all labels to point to the URL you choose, when this property sells and the signs go different places you can change each sign to the new and different property listing. No need to print new labels.
  • How does a modern QR work?
Technically, the quick response, or QR, code is imprinted with a unique series of letters and numbers that sends your smartphone, via its camera scan, to a central computer where the smartphone is then directed to open a specific webpage, or URL, i.e. your listing. We can access that computer, and tell it which URL the smartphone should open. If you have a QR sticker on a sign which lands on your current listing, and you want to move your sign to a new listing, we’ll be able to access the computer and redirect the scan to your new listing’s URL, actually to any webpage you choose. No reprinting stickers. Because of the interface with a computer, you can receive analytic information - when and how many people visited your webpage as a result of the camera scan.
